When you are building your own home, whether it is your first home or your forever home, it should be just as you envision it. Unfortunately for some, shoddy workmanship, cut corners or clumsy installation lead to disappointment instead of satisfaction on move-in day.
You can avoid this disappointment, however, by having an independent inspector like House Inspections Shepparton look over the property for any defects – large or small – that the builder will be obliged to fix before you move in.
Our chief inspector is a Registered Builder as well as a qualified building inspector, so you can rest assured that your building inspection is in the most capable hands.
Our inspectors will meticulously check over every part of your property, including:
• Roof, inside and out, including framing, insulation, tiling, guttering and tie downs
• Interior of the house, including plasterwork, door and window frames, paintwork, levels and sanitary fixtures and fittings
• Lighting fixtures and fittings, including wiring, fuses and safety switch connections
• Internal plumbing, including tap-ware, bathrooms, laundries and kitchens
• Woodwork and decoration
Once this building inspection is complete, we will send you a clear and detailed report including coloured photographs outlining exactly what we have noted about your property. Our building inspectors are always happy to take your calls to clarify any further questions you have about your property.
All of our building inspections are carried out in accordance with Australian Standard 4349.1.
